Mahendra Maheswar Karanam, Founder & CMD of Kalatronics Semiconductors, is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in the IC industry, having worked with global giants like ST Micro Fab, RAMBUS, and NXP. A prodigious talent, he cleared the 10th Class exam at age 13 and earned his Master’s from IISc with a GATE AIR of 43. As an entrepreneur, Mahendra successfully scaled ventures like Simtronics Micro Systems and Simatrix Technologies, achieving milestones such as a $40M consolidation with Honda Electronics. At Kalatronics, he spearheaded remarkable growth, achieving a 100 crore turnover and serving six NASDAQ-listed clients.
